The Pakistan Academy of Letters gives the following two awards every year to the best books published in the Hindko language:
Named after the great Ṣūfī poet of Hindko, this award is given annually to the best poetry collection of Hindko.This award was launched in 2008. Before the launch of the Khatir Ghaznavi Award for prose in 2017, this award covered entire literature of Hindko. So far, the following poets and writers have received this award:

Due to lack of the required number of books published in 2010, 2011, and 2012, the Sain Ahmad Ali Award could not be given in those years.
Named after the prominent Urdu and Hindko writer Khatir Ghaznavi, this award is given every year to the best Hindko prose book. This award was launched in 2017. Earlier, the Sain Ahmed Ali Award covered all the Hindko literature. So far, the following Hindko prose writers have received this award:
