Hall of Fame (the Aivān-i Aʻeẓāẓ)

Decorated with portraits and brief introductions of outstanding Pakistani writers of various languages/regions, the Hall of Fame or the Aivān-i Aʻeẓāẓ is located in the main premises of the Academy in Islamabad. Established in 2021, it is the first such hall of its kind in any field in Pakistan. It is not only a tribute to the literary legends of the soil, but also showcases the true literary excellence of Pakistan’s diverse literary landscape. Literary legends included in the Hall of Fame are Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Saadat Hasan Manto, Josh Malih Abadi, N. M. Rashid, Majid Amjad, Sheikh Ayaz, Amir Hamza Khan Shinwari, Mir Gul Khan Naseer, Mumtaz Mufti, Mushtaq Ahmed Yousufi, Intizar Hussain, Nasir Kazmi, Munir Niazi, Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi, Abdullah Hussain, Ahmed Faraz, Mukhtar Masood, Ashfaq Ahmed, Khan Abdul Ghani Khan, Dr. Nabi Bakhsh Baloch, Dr. Jameel Jalbi, Bano Qudsia, Abdullah Jan Jamaldini, Sobhogyan Chandani, Jameeluddin Aali, Habib Jalib, Ada Jafari, Khalida Hussain, Ustad Daman, Bapsi Sidhwa, Kishwar Naheed, Iftikhar Arif, Fehmida Riaz, Parveen Shakir, Amjad Islam Amjad and Munir Ahmed Badini.
