The Pakistan Academy of Letters gives the following two awards every year for the best books published by Pakistani writers and poets in English:
Named after the eminent prose writer of Urdu and English, Patras Bukhari, this award is given every year to the best prose book published in English by a Pakistani writer. This award was launched in 1981. Before launch of the Daud Kamal Award in 2017 this award covered the entire Pakistani English literature. So far, the following Pakistani poets and writers have received this award:
